Overcoming physical restrictions with his formidable persistence, limitless imagination, and exceptional talent, Japanese pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii has earned worldwide acclaim and recognition for his extraordinary expressiveness and virtuosity. Recipient of the Critics’ Award at the International Frédéric Chopin Piano Competition 2005 Warsaw and the joint Gold Medal at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition 2009, Nobu is also a composer and has won the 2011 Japan Film Music Critics Award for Film Music.
In this ‘Music in Words’ session, he will engage in a dialogue with Dr. Giorgio Biancorosso and Dr. Yoshiko Nakano, sharing with the audience his inner musical world and his journey as a pianist and a composer.
