Before the 3-piano relay of Messiaen’s mystical Vingt Regards sur l’Enfant-Jésus, pianists Nancy Loo, Mary Wu, and Shelley Ng share their thoughts on the profound musical and spiritual dimensions of this masterpiece. They will piece together the implanted symbolic totems and reveal the innovative techniques behind this emotional journey of faith.

 

梅湘的《聖嬰二十默想》充滿神秘色彩、隱藏高深哲理。演奏會前﹐三位鋼琴家羅乃新、吳美樂、吳宇晴將分享各自對這部鉅著的領會,亦將為大家拆解二十樂章內的音樂動機與主題象徵,透視破格技巧中表露的豐富情感,解讀音樂所表達的信仰奧秘。
