In the coming episode of ‘In the Time of COVID-19’ series, Prof. Daniel Chua has invited Maestro Jaap van Zweden, Music Director of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra to HKU for an in-depth dialogue. The Maestro shed lights on his leadership philosophy, his interpretation of Beethoven symphonies, his work with the Papageno Foundation, as well as the inspiration he had received from other great conductors, including an episode on picking up the baton for the first time under Bernstein’s encouragement.
