Taiwan’s award-winning independent record label Wind Music has succeeded in exploring and preserving the soundscape of Taiwan. Established in 1988, its sound producers have travelled to remote areas and visited many indigenous tribes to record the sounds of this beautiful island. They have produced an extraordinary collection of albums no mainstream label would ever consider.
In this lecture-recital, Wind Music’s Music Director Judy Wu Chin-tai, a renowned producer and composer, will engage in dialogues with four exciting musicians from Taiwan’s new generation, sharing their thoughts on music in their lives, and their experience and stories in searching and producing their own original music.
