A truly multi-faceted and charismatic artist, Hélène Grimaud will present an imaginative programme at HKU, taking the themes of water as its starting point. As she travels from Liszt’s Italian fountains and Debussy’s Atlantic coast to Brahms’ tempestuous and elemental Second Sonata, her ‘scintillating intelligence’ (The Independent) will make everything she plays glow with colour and light.
