Vivian Ip

One of the rising young conductors in Hong Kong, Vivian Ip was praised by the winner of the ‘Best Conductor’ Grammy Award John Nelson: “Conducting is like breathing for you. Bright talent you have!” Currently Associate Conductor of the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, she has guest conducted at the Hong Kong Arts Festival, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Musica Viva Hong Kong, and Hong Kong Grand Opera. Internationally, she has worked with L’Orchestre Victor Hugo, Franche-Comté (France), the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Polish Baltic Philharmonic, Kammerorchester Musica Vitae (Sweden), Nova Gorica International Music Festival Orchestra (Slovenia), George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra (Romania), among others. Ip also teaches Conducting and Choral Conducting at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
