Chang Pei-heng 張沛姮
Chang Pei-heng was born in Pingtung City, Taiwan, and has played the double bass since the age of nine. She received her Bachelor of Music degree from the National Taiwan Normal University in 2010, and went on to the University of Cincinnati where she obtained her Artist diploma and master’s degree in 2011 with Dr Albert Laszlo. She was a fellow of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra during the 2010/11 season and studied with Jiang Xinlai (then Assistant Principal Double Bass), Andrew Ling (Principal Viola) and John Harding (former Concertmaster). In 2009 she joined the Taiwan Philharmonic, and in the same year gave her first solo recital in Taipei and won the first prize of Taiwan students’ competition. At the University of Cincinnati, she was Principal Double Bass.
Pei-heng has participated in several music festivals and performances, including a music festival in France in 2009 where she studied with Thierry Barbé, principal bass of the Paris National Opera. She also participated in the Asian Youth Orchestra in 2005.
張沛姮生於台灣屏東市,九歲起學習低音大提琴。2010年於國立臺灣師範大學取得音樂學士學位後,赴辛辛那提大學攻讀藝術文憑及碩士,師承拉斯洛博士,於2011年畢業。在2010/11樂季成為香港管弦樂團駐團學員,跟隨姜馨來(時任助理首席低音大提琴)、凌顯祐(首席中提琴)及夏定忠(前任樂團首席)學習。
張氏在2009年加入台灣愛樂,舉行台北首個獨奏音樂會,贏得台灣學生大賽冠軍。在辛辛那提大學留學期間,擔任首席低音大提琴。
沛姮曾參與多個音樂節及演出:2009年在法國參加音樂節,隨巴黎國家歌劇院的首席低音大提琴巴貝學習;2005年曾參加亞洲青年管弦樂團。
