Fu Shuimiao

Fu Shuimiao 付水淼

Fu Shuimiao started to play the violin at the age of six, and was admitted to the Master’s Degree Programme in Viola at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music with full scholarship, studying under Professor Shen Xi Di, Liu Nian and Lan Han Cheng.

She has played in various orchestras, including the Symphony Orchestra of Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Asia Youth Orchestra, and with world-famous conductors including Simon Rattle, Seiji Ozawa, Christoph Eschenbach, Heinrich Schiff, Mikhail Pletnev and Herbert Blomstedt.  She appeared alongside soloist Kolja Blacher, Lang Lang and Ann-Sophie Mutter in the Young Euro Classical Music Festival and the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival in Germany. She also gained much experience performing in different road shows in Italy, Denmark, Moscow, Lithuania and Armenia.

She was appointed a Robert H. N. Ho Foundation Orchestral fellow of the Hong Kong Philharmonic, and is now employed as a tutti viola player.

付水淼自六歲起學習小提琴;以全費獎學金考入上海音樂學院的碩士課程,師承沈西蒂、劉念和藍漢成教授。

曾參與上海音樂學院交響樂團及亞洲青年管弦樂團等多個樂團,與歷圖、小澤征爾、艾遜巴赫、席夫、柏尼夫、比奧斯達等享譽全球的指揮家合作,亦和獨奏演奏家巴列夏、郎朗和安蘇菲・慕達於歐洲青年古典音樂節和石荷州音樂節同台演出。她在意大利、丹麥、莫斯科、立陶宛、亞美尼亞巡演期間累積不少演出經驗。

她曾被取錄為香港管弦樂團何鴻毅家族基金「駐團學員培訓計劃」成員,現為港樂中提琴樂師。
