Charles Lee Gai-ho

Born in Denver, Colorado but raised in Hong Kong, Lee is currently in his final year as an Economics and Finance student at the University of Hong Kong. Classically trained in piano and organ, Lee has served as a church organist for over seven years. It was during his sophomore year that he discovered a passion for composition, leading him to declare Music as his second major.

Mentored by Prof. Chan Hing-yan, Lee has composed a diverse portfolio of orchestral and chamber pieces. His current creative explorations centre on pushing the boundaries of instrumental sonorities and techniques to capture inspirations drawn from nature, as well as to conjure up unconventional sonic landscapes.
