Benedikt Fohr 霍品達

Benedikt Fohr has been the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil) since April 2019.

Before joining the HK Phil, Benedikt was the Orchestra Manager (CEO) of Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern for 12 years and was highly regarded for his long-term commitment to the orchestra. Previously, he was the General Director of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, Secretary General of the Camerata Salzburg and Managing Director of the Ensemble Research Freiburg.

Benedikt was educated in Germany and holds an MBA from the University of Mannheim. He studied the violin and viola until the age of 18. Since then, he enjoys performing occasionally with amateur orchestras and playing chamber music. In 2021 he joined the SAR Philharmonic Orchestra.

霍品達自2019年4月出任香港管弦樂團（港樂）行政總裁。

在加入港樂之前，霍品達曾擔任德國電台愛樂樂團的樂團經理（即行政總裁）長達12年，對樂團長期的付出和貢獻備受尊崇。他曾於不同藝團擔任要職，包括盧森堡愛樂樂團（盧森堡大公國的管弦樂團）總經理、薩爾斯堡室樂團秘書長，以及弗萊堡室樂團行政總裁。

霍品達在德國接受教育，持曼海姆大學工商管理碩士學位。他曾學習小提琴及中提琴至18歲，偶爾參與業餘樂團及室樂演出。2021年，他加入了香港愛樂團。
