Alina Ibragimova

Born in Russia in 1985, Alina studied at the Moscow Gnesin School before moving with her family to the UK in 1996, where she studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School and Royal College of Music, and was a member of the Kronberg Academy Masters programme.

Alina’s teachers have included Natasha Boyarsky, Gordan Nikolitch and Christian Tetzlaff.

Alina has performed chamber music at venues including the Wigmore Hall, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Mozarteum Salzburg, Musikverein Vienna, Carnegie Hall New York, Palais des Beaux Arts Brussels, and at festivals including Salzburg, Verbier and Aldeburgh.

As a soloist Alina appears with orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, Academy of Ancient Music, the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, Stuttgart Radio Symphony, Munich Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Philharmonia, and all the BBC orchestras.
